Kamryn Yanchick (she/her) is a proud Seminole and Mvskoke woman who recently graduated in May with degrees in Native American studies and political science from the University of Oklahoma. Kamryn has promoted civic engagement on and off campus as a Oklahoma Votes Civic Engagement Fellow, Rock the Native Vote voter registrar, and Student Advisory Board member for Campus Vote Project, where she is paving the way for research and programming highlighting the experiences and needs of Native American students around the nation. Kamryn plans to attend law school after spending time gaining work experience in the nonprofit sector, and find a meaningful career advocating for the rights of Native peoples and the sovereignty of tribal nations.
